How much experience and training do you have?

We have experienced many different types of venues, events, and music genres. Together we have a total of 15 years of experience creating and DJing events.

Where do you get your music from?

All of our tracks are sourced and purchased through an online Dj pool and are of the highest quality available. We do NOT use music streaming services for several reasons; 1) it is against the terms and conditions of all streaming services to use their services outside of personal, non-commercial use, and 2) internet access inconsistencies and other issues make this option unreliable for professional use.

Do the DJs take breaks?

We will be sure that the music and events continue seamlessly once the contract time starts. Since we come as a pair we are able to support each other for any breaks that naturally are needed throughout a 8-12 hour day.

Can you supply recent client references.

Happily! Majority of our events come from word of mouth and referrals! While our clients might not always remember or have the time to write us a review, we have many past clients with nothing but positive things to say about their experiences and would be more than happy to share with you.

Is there a backup plan?

You should always be asking this question of your vendors. We always wish for the best but having a plan B just incase is always a good idea. Regarding our own services offered since we are booked as a pair we typically can be each other’s back up. If something like illness were to affect us both we are part of a DJing collective that gives us access to professionally trained DJ’s available on-call. We also come prepared with backup gear. Canceling on a client is not an option for us.

Do you attend the ceremony/reception rehearsal?

We can for an additional charge however this is often unnecessary. During our coordination call closer to your event date we can determine if it might be necessary for the DJ to attend.

Is tip included in the price?

Tipping is not required but always appreciated if you are truly happy with the service delivered to you on the day of and can be given directly to them. Even offering a great review to be able to share online is a great other way to show your appreciation for a great party as well.

I’m all booked in! Now what?

Congratulations, your services are now guaranteed! All you need to do now is sit back, relax, and start thinking about the songs you want to dance to. You should have received an email that has all the information you need to take you right up into our pre-event coordination call!

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes, we have a business license, GST number, and carry corporate liability insurance. All of which is available to you, or your venue upon request. Why is this important? Because it protects you, the client, should anything go wrong. Ensuring all of your vendors are properly licensed and insured is good for your peace of mind.

When does the DJ show up?

Typically the DJ will show up with enough time to set up before the contracted start time. We may need earlier access which can be worked out during our pre-event coordination call which happens about 10-14 days before your event.

Will you travel? Is there an extra fee?

We travel all over Alberta and into the B.C. Rockies. Yes, There is a travel fee and in some instances accommodations for the DJ will be required. If you suspect there maybe travel required for your event, simply let us know and we will be happy to quote you.
